Tozer chpt. 5

I will be answering questions from the same place, so if you want to see them, please go HERE.

2) I dislike this, for this means that God is constantly having to pick up the mess I am leaving behind, but at the same time, I enjoy it because it means I am becoming a better person to better server God.

3) I understand sin as anything that goes against God's plans. I think Tozer touches on this when he starts with how man made himself the center of the universe, and not God. He also continues to touch on this throughout the chapter.

  1. Thank you, Daran, for your thoughts. I think I get what you are saying when you acknowledge that you "dislike this", but please expand on this. What do you mean, "the mess I'm leaving behind"? In your response, it helps to use the language of the question to both keep yourself on track, but also to make it clear what you are saying is in direct response to the question.
Also, I am asking you to develop your ideas and use greater specificity. To say, "He also continues to touch on this throughout the chapter" is very vague and says very little.

To your first point: yes, we always have the opportunity to become better persons with the Grace that God provides. We can serve God better. What more can you tell me?
